PRESIDENT’S MESSAGE: Super Trap, Inc. (STI) was renamed to Paragon Tactical, Inc. (PTI) in 2013. STI’s Super Trap® in 1997 took the lead in the range backstop industry and verifiably (refer to US Patent application date) developed and constructed the first slopped rubber berm trap on the market for Roy and Adeline Woodward – Owners of the “Magnolia Range” in Santee, CA. This new revolutionary approach eventually caught the attention of the competition which in time caused them to develop their own brand of rubber berm trap. In short: STI in 1997 raised the bar in shooting range backstop construction, to the benefit of the entire shooting range industry. PTI presently carries on this tradition with products such as ELIxIR® & Gel-Cor^® and an improved 10 gauge galvanized steel infrastructure. ELIxIR verifiably immobilizes lead to below the Enviromental Protection Agency (EPA) threshold of five parts per million (5ppm) to verifiably less than 3ppm.Gel-Cor^® verifiably gives PTI’s Super Trap’s chunk rubber a Class “A” fire rating throughout the entire depth of the rubber berm. ELIxIR^® & Gel-Cor^® not only create lower liability for all owners, but they also demonstrably benefit the health & safety of all parties associated with the range.
